Frequently asked questions
If your answer is not here, write to us.
Are the houses registered, with licence plates?
Yes. Our houses are registered and carry their own licence plates.
Can I put my house anywhere I like?
The house sits on a trailer, so it can be moved. Permits for the place it will stand can differ by area; we work them out together at the quote stage.
How long does delivery take?
Houses are delivered in 35 days.
How long is the warranty?
Our houses come with a 2-year warranty.
How is the house delivered?
The house is brought to its site on its own trailer. We check the road and access with you before the quote.
Can I tow the house with my own vehicle?
That depends on your vehicle's towing capacity and the weight of the house. We tell you the towing capacity your model needs at the quote stage.
Does the ground need preparing?
The spot where the house stands needs to be level and firm. We decide together what preparation your plot needs during the site visit.
How are water and waste water connected?
The house can connect to mains water or a water tank, and waste water to a sewer, a septic pit or a waste tank. We choose together based on what your plot offers.
How are electricity and heating provided?
The house connects to mains electricity; we can discuss a solar option in the quote. We choose heating options with you based on the model and how you will use it.
Will I have to pay tax on it?
Tax can depend on how the house is used. We share the current information with you at the quote stage.
I have nowhere to put my house. What can I do?
You can rent a plot for your tiny house at Alf Sapanca. The house is yours and you pay ground rent; you can take your home elsewhere later if you wish.
